Its Stewards

Kellan became full time steward of the Little Blue House in July of 2009. Being raised in Austin, Texas and graduating college as a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie is a contradiction in identity that he wears proudly (among many others). Growing up in houses much like the LBH throughout his life gives no surprise that he would become the steward of one himself. Kellan is constantly plagued with conjuring up entirely too many projects to handle at once, often bouncing between them in seemingly (to onlookers) frantic order. His creativity, constant research and relentless determination all help to make his many ideas and concepts a reality. Professionally, Kellan works and helps operate the family business, a landscape design/build firm that he will eventually take over. Kellan also enjoys photography, travel, playing music, dancing and cooking, especially with Rebekah, a soon-to-be full time steward of the LBH.

Rebekah became part-time steward of the Little Blue House in July of 2009. Originally born in Ottawa, Canada, she currently lives in College Station, Texas where she is finishing her degrees in Spanish and International Studies. While I’m not sure if such an endeavor would have been her first choice without some coaxing, she is quickly adapting to find her role in its progression. Her radiant personality and adventurous spirit are great additions to the soul of the LBH as she is always willing to lend aid when she can. She enjoys all sorts of arts and crafts, travel, photography, piano and of course, dancing and cooking with Kellan.

Rebekah and Kellan will be married in mid October, 2010 and cannot wait until they are finally together under the gracious roof of the Little Blue House!

Author’s Note: This is our story as of June 3, 2010. We look forward to all the many changes to come.
